We’ve kept it fun and exciting, but you don’t want to miss out on the great things that America has to offer. This list is by no means comprehensive—it’s just a start!

Art museums

Art museums are a great way to learn about history, culture, and art. They’re educational, fun and can be free or cheap! You’ll find them all over the country so there’s no excuse not to go.

Art museums are educational because they teach you about different time periods in history through paintings and sculptures. It also gives you an idea of what life was like back then through these pieces of artwork made by artists hundreds of years ago.

Art museums are fun because they contain many interactive games such as dress up stations where visitors can try on costumes from different eras in history or pretend they’re famous artists while creating their own masterpieces on canvas boards that hang above their heads so everyone else can see them too! There will also be food vendors selling snacks like popcorn kernels with salt & butter seasoning packets attached so everyone can enjoy a tasty treat while exploring this amazing place together.”

Natural features such as mountains or rivers can also become historic landmarks if they are associated with an important event in history (like the signing of the Declaration of Independence at Mount Vernon).

Monuments and memorials

Monuments and memorials are found all over the world. They commemorate important people and events, as well as reflect on the culture of a place. Many are visited by tourists and locals alike who want to learn more about their history, or simply take in some beautiful scenery.

Here are some examples:

• The Statue of Liberty in New York City is one of America’s most famous monuments, standing tall on Liberty Island since 1886. Its soaring torch was designed by Frederic Bartholdi, whose father inspired him to build it while he was studying architecture at university in Paris (where this photo was taken from). The statue itself measures 93 meters high with an arm span measuring 46 meters across! It took two years for workers using only hand tools plus some steam engines powered by coal-fired boilers working 24 hours per day seven days per week just so they could finish building this amazing structure within four years’ time–and boy am I glad they did!

Zoos, aquariums, and wildlife parks

Zoos, aquariums and wildlife parks are a great way to see animals in their natural habitat. Many of these places have educational programs and activities for children, so it’s a fun way for kids to learn more about endangered species as well.

If you’re an avid gardener or just enjoy spending time in nature, you can find a garden or botanical garden pretty much anywhere. The United States alone has over 12,000 public gardens and arboreta with hundreds more private ones sprinkled across its 50 states. If you’re looking to get out of town for some greenery, there are also plenty of options beyond our borders: France boasts over 200 botanical gardens; Japan has almost 500; Australia has over 300!
