Europe’s Top Music Festivals For Your Summer Vacation in 2023

Introduction

The summer months are the best times to travel, and they’re also a great time to get away from your daily routine and experience different cultures. If you’re looking for an exciting new way to spend your summer vacation this year, then consider attending one of Europe‘s best music festivals! Not only will you get to enjoy some amazing live performances by some of the world’s top artists, but these events also provide an opportunity for you to relax in beautiful environments surrounded by thousands of like-minded people who just want to have fun.

Rock am Ring

Rock am Ring is a music festival that takes place annually in the first weekend of June at Nurburgring-Nordschleife, Germany. The festival started in 1985 and has a capacity of around 80,000 people.

The lineup this year includes Muse (headliner), Twenty One Pilots (2nd headliner), Greta Van Fleet and many others!

Electric picnic

Electric Picnic is an annual music festival that takes place in Ireland. It’s one of Europe’s biggest, with over 100 artists performing on four stages over the course of three days. The festival takes place in late August at Stradbally Hall Estate in County Laois, about an hour outside Dublin.

The lineup changes each year but has included big names like Florence + The Machine and Kendrick Lamar in previous years. Tickets cost $150 for general admission or $250 for VIP access (which includes perks like private toilets and bars). You can camp out on site if you want to save money by bringing your own tent or RV–or book a room at one of the nearby hotels instead!

Roskilde Festival

Roskilde Festival is a Danish music festival that takes place every year in July. It is one of Europe’s largest festivals, attracting over 100,000 visitors each year and has been running since 1971.

The festival takes place in Roskilde, which is a city in Denmark with a population of about 50,000 people. The festival began as an anti-commercial alternative to the rock festivals that were popular at the time; it was held on waste ground near Roskilde Cathedral (hence its name). Today it includes several stages for live music performances as well as other activities such as dance shows and circus performances.

Sziget

Sziget Festival is held in Budapest, Hungary. It is the largest music festival in Europe and has been going for 25 years. The five day event features over 600 performances on eight stages and has attracted over 1 million visitors each year since its inception in 1993.

The lineup of artists at Sziget changes every year but some past performers include Bruno Mars, Madonna, Arctic Monkeys and Beyonce

Exit Festival

If you’re looking for something a little more off the beaten path, look no further than Serbia. For three days in November, Novi Sad (the country’s second largest city) is host to Exit Festival–the largest music festival in Serbia and one of its most famous cultural events. The festival features more than 300 international artists from around the world performing on multiple stages over several days.

Exit began as an underground movement against oppression during Yugoslavia’s communist era but has since grown into an internationally recognized event with over 200,000 attendees each year. The festival takes place at several different venues across Novi Sad including open air stages and indoor clubs throughout town; some ticket holders get access only to certain areas depending on how much they pay for tickets or whether their purchase includes VIP treatment such as backstage passes or private transportation between venues

Glastonbury Festival

Glastonbury Festival is an annual music festival that takes place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset in England. The festival was first held in 1970 and has since grown to become one of the largest music festivals in the world.

It features rock, indie, pop and electronic music as well as dance performances by artists from around the world. Glastonbury also hosts talks on various topics such as spirituality, politics and social issues.[1]

This year’s event will take place at Finsbury Park in London from June 18-19.
